My Life Played Out in Willowtree

I love Willowtree figurines. Whenever a major event happens in our family I receive a figurine (if there is one that correlates to that event). Here is what my collection looks like at the moment.
The first one represents Craig and my marriage.
When I was having a hard time not getting pregnant and was feeling low about it, Craig got me the praying angel.
When I found out I was prego I got the angel with the flower.
Then came the prego woman (need I say more?).
We then got the Mommy and Daddy with Baby.
For Christams I just got the Mommy and Toddler.
And I got Craig the New Daddy. It was supposed to be for Fathers Day, but it didn't get here in time, so he got it for Christmas.

Sick Baby

KC got really sick yesterday. His temp got up to 104.6 poor kid. We did everything we could to make it go down (as you will see in the pix). As much as I hate my baby being sick, I love how cuddly he gets. He also fell asleep on me for the first time. He is feeling better now (and drugged up) so he is a lot happier!

Christmas & Update

I'm going to go in reverse order. Sorry!

Well today KC decided to get sick AGAIN!! Last night he wouldn't sleep and today his fever reached 103. Poor baby!! I can't stand this sad face. He just wants to be held and moved from Mommy to Daddy. We both need to be there and taking turns holding him or he screams!
I hit some after Christmas sales and came away with some loot for next year! Yea! It is so pretty it makes me happy! :)
Now you get to learn about one of my many anal tendencies... Plastic bins! I love them. Just seeing them makes me want to cry with happiness. Strange to some, but to you who love organization you will understand my sheer joy at seeing these new tubs at Walmart and Target.
Boxes that will fit all of my ornaments... even my odd shaped ones. Oh joy!
Even better tub? One made just for Christmas lights! Oh joy of all joys! I seriously almost cried when I found this at Walmart! Isn't it sooooo pretty?!
My new idea... Monogrammed pins for our Christmas stockings thanks to an after Christmas sale.
My favorite present I received this year? Rachael Ray pots and pans! I was so happy I sat hugging it and refused to open more presents. Even KC loves it!
KC playing with toys.
Charity gave me my Nativity this year. Side note.... every year I try to get a new Nativity set to add to my collection. Thanks to family I have yet to purchase more than one myself! :) Thanks fam! I love you all!!!
Our traditional Christmas breakfast- orange cinnamon rolls! Yummm!
KC wanted to eat the presents rather than open them. Oh well! His Birthday is in a few weeks anyway!
Our loot from our stockings. We open them up before we eat breakfast. Look at all that junk food!
Another tradition we have is to get a new ornament every year. This is Craig's! So cute!
KC loving the loot from his stocking. Look at that boogery nose.
Before he saw his loot all he wanted was food. Poor baby face!

I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas as much as we did! Love you all and happy New Year!

Christmas Eve Gift from KC

Today when Craig got up to get KC out of the crib he came running back into the bedroom shouting "Jen! Get up! I need your help!" I jumped out of bed thinking that something was wrong with KC and ran into his room just to be assaulted by the foulest smell imaginable. There is only one thing that can make that bad of an odor... poop! KC had pooped so much that it came out of his diaper and smeared up his back, down his legs, all over his crib, and everywhere!!! Craig took him into the bathroom and striped him down and Craig gave him a bath to wash away all of his poop (I had to leave because the smell was so bad). I cleaned the crib and sprayed air freshener all over the place. Merry Christmas Eve to us!

Look A Like??

We were looking at Jen's baby pics and thought that she looked like some little boy that we know... Konrad! What do you think?

Christmas Tree

This year, as usual, we went to the tree farm to find and purchase our family Christmas tree. Unlike all the previous years we decided to cut our own tree down instead of purchasing a precut tree.

Here is KC at the tree farm.
As you can see there was still some snow on the ground, so it was a special experience for KC. Craig loved it too.

I was determined to get a small tree this year (under 6'). After A LOT of searching we found the perfect tree (5' tall)!!!

It was fun and exciting to have Craig cut down the tree. We joked about how he can now call himself a 'real man' because he cut down his first tree to provide for his family :)

We got it home and waited till KC fell asleep to put it up and decorate it.

Then put the baby gate up to protect it

Kind of ruins the whole effect doesn't it.
Oh well.... Merry Christmas!!

I am changing my life

I am tired! Tired of my life, tired of my self, just tired. I am going to change, starting now, not at the New Year. I have made 5 goals (you can see them and my future progress on my other blog if you want to) that I am going to implement immediately. I hope that you will support my new changes and keep me in check by asking (on my blog if you please) how I am doing with my goals. I love you all and hope that you have in mind any New Years changes you wish to make and I will do my best to support you in your endeavors as well.

It's Snowing!!! Nnnnnooooooooooo!!!!

Here is the snow. I put KC in it and he didn't move! He just looked up at me as if to say "What the crap?! This is cold! Pick me up NOW!!!" It looks like he might have a little of me in him after all! I guess Craig is the only one who enjoys this weather.

New Pix

Ok, here are a bunch of new pix of KC-

As you know he loves to pull faces, here is a new one he seems to like :)
We went on a day trip to Maryland and on the way home KC was fussing (because he was tired and in a car seat). I handed him one of Craig's Reece's Peanut butter cups and he got quite for a while. When I looked back I realized he had open the Reece's and had eaten it- hence the quietness. I took a pix. He was covered, his seat was covered, and he was as happy as a clam!
I now watch two kids M-F and this is the little girl Sadie. Isn't she cute. KC is in love with her.
We call this KC's Vogue picture. I bought him this hat and he didn't want to wear it. When I finally got it on his head he pulled this face. I love it!!! It is his Evil Eye!
This is Sadie's big brother JoJo (short for Joseph Joshua). That is right, KC and JoJo! hahaha! Anyway KC loves JoJo and copies anything he does. Here they are in our tunnel.
How cute are my baby's blue eyes?! They ROCK!!!
This is his fake cry, but you can see his two bottom teeth! YAH TEETH!!!!
Here is KC beating up Craig. 11 months old and he can level his daddy with one swipe! Wahoo!
He is such a daddies boy! So cute! I love my men!
KC loves it when you push him into someones face and then pull him away. He pulls this face! It is soooo cute!
Thats all for now! Hope you enjoyed the pix!!!!
