Easter
We had a wonderful Easter this year. My Mom came out and spent it with us. We loved dressing the kids up and (thanks to Natalie's dress for QuinElla) they looked sooo cute! Here are some pix.
Our Easter Tree and baskets
Craig with Konrad's basket on his head
Grandma reading my lesson for church with my messy house in the back and foreground
Grandma and Konrad playing with Craig's Easter gift..... lawn darts
Quin and Craig having bonding time
Konrad and Quin not cooperating for their photo op

A VERY tired QuinElla at church
Our beautiful colored easter eggs. I was loath to crack them because they were the most beautiful eggs I had ever seen, let alone colored

I hope your Easter was wonderful as well.
Cake Balls
Yummy easy dessert. All you need is a box cake, frosting, and chocolate chips (or melting chocolate). I added peanut butter to make it Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls.
All you need to do is...
Bake the cake according to the box directions
Take that cake once it is baked and put it in a food mixer and add frosting (I put 3/4 of the can of frosting and 1/4 cup of peanut butter). It makes a play-dough type mixture that you then roll into balls.
Put these balls into the freezer for at least 2 hours (overnight is better).
When the freezing time is done, melt your chocolate and dip the frozen balls into them.
Sprinkle with whatever topping you want, or just leave as is.
WARNING! These are extremely rich desserts. Make them small and you will like them better. Here is what a cross section of the balls looks like.
Enjoy!
