Vacation

So..... we were supposed to go to NYC for our vacation, unfortunately it was scheduled to rain the three days we were going to be there. We canceled the trip, since most of the things we wanted to see in NYC are outside, and decided to go to the beach instead.
The weather report said that there was only 10% chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. In reality it rained all day Tuesday until 6pm. We went to the Childrens Museum in the area (thanks mom and dad) in the morning. It was HUGE! The kids loved it! When it was lunch time (ok 3pm) we left and went to a movie. Thank goodness we got the movie on a cheap night ($2 for the whole family) and we got to see a claymation pirate movie. The kids had a ball and it was a theater that served food so we ate a pizza while we watched the movie.
At 6 when the movie was over the rain had stopped and we went to a small beach by our TINY hotel.
On Wednesday we decided to drive to Virginia Beach (30 min away) and spent the day at the beach. At 330 we started our drive home and stopped by a friends house in Williamsburg for dinner.
We didn't get back on the road till 9pm and thanks to crying kids and Konrad throwing up (he was so tired he cried and screamed till he barfed) we didn't get home till almost 1am.
It was a long and fun trip. Quin and I got a little sunburned, but we had a lot of fun!
